NEWSMAKER: Lael Brainard will deliver brief remarks on the economic outlook and then engage in a lively Q&A with Washington Post economics correspondent Heather Long. Brainard has been a Fed leader since 2014 and has played an instrumental role in shaping the Fed's thinking on the labor market, climate change and more. Prior to joining the Fed, Brainard served as Undersecretary of the Treasury for International Affairs during the Obama Administration, a fellow at the Brookings Institution and an economic adviser to President Clinton.
