SKILLS SESSION: Just follow the money -- some $6 trillion of it. The American Rescue Plan, signed into law by President Biden in March, promises to stimulate the covid-wracked economy with $1.9 trillion. The president's American Jobs Plan envisions an additional $2 trillion to rebuild the country's infrastructure. And his American Families Plan would spend $1.8 trillion to expand access to education and child care. For business journalists, the historic spending initiatives are reporting gold mines, but where do you begin to find the hidden nuggets? We have two expert economists who will show us the way.
